It's not quite that time of year again! The time when misplaced decorations are thrown around and other holidays are pushed aside for one entirely made up, for marching season is over, and it is Christmas time in the band room!
Like hibernation to a bear, this is a special time for me; a time to forget about classes, neglect grades entirely, and devote every moment of my time to making sure everyone has a smile on their face and in their heart. Time to crank out the Celtic Christmas music and make cards by the fire! I'm so excited I can't even contain myself!
The winter air will soon be upon us! The shivers and bundling closely to friends and lovers! Isn't it just a beautiful time? A time to forget awkward acquaintances and be close to one another, whether male, female, black, white, Jewish, or bear. Time to rejoin choir and spread the love to one another.
And what a special time it is to have (limited time only) free journal skins! Now I can decorate my passionate desire to bring joy to my fellow man accented by adorable little penguins! What a time it is! What a time it is, indeed!
Life is splendid; not because my grades are great (which they're not), not because I'm full of inspiration (which I'm not), and not because I have anything to look forward to (because I don't). Life is great because I have people like you, who are wonderful and magnificent, and you all have each other, too, so take your smile back out of your pocket and sew it onto your face as a reminder to be happy, should you ever forget how wonderful life is.
